Aims & Introduction:
Research Center for International Maritime Law and Practice (RCIM Law and Practice), Pakistan aims to provide quality Maritime related legal policy inputs through informed legal research and practices. The core objective of Research Center for International Maritime Law and Practice (RCIM Law and Practice) at Gwadar, Pakistan is to provide the services in terms of formulating, understanding and analyzing the set of rules and laws abided by international community at the international global level i.e.International Maritime Organization (IMO) and United Nations (UN). The center will work by way of comprehensive research oriented dialogues, and international legal practices in the international courts on matters of global and regional issues affecting peace, security, economy and development of Pakistan from the lens of International and Maritime Laws.
Research Center for International Maritime Law and Practice (RCIM Law and Practice), Pakistan aims to provide perspectives of International and Maritime Laws through Research, different modes of Practice and Dialogues (Arbitrations, Mediations and Conciliations). RCIM Law and Practice shall focus on the different areas of research and shall perform International legal Maritime practice including areas from South Asia, China, Japan & Asia Pacific, Afghanistan & Central Asia, Iran, Middle East, Europe, United Kingdom, United States, United Nations. The center shall focus on matters related to Strategy & Security Perspectives, Pakistan’s Foreign Policy, Nuclear Issues, matters of admiralty, Terrorism & Militancy, Economic & Social Issues and others.
