Message of the CEO (RCIMLP):
Our CEO believes that: "Geo-economics and the economic security agenda of promoting trade, investments and connectivity greatly depends on the development of Maritime Laws. In the last five centuries of capitalist development, European colonial expansion was only made possible with the sea and ships. Sea in this way became a route of communication and strength rather than isolation and weakness. It is no doubt that maritime is not only an industry but a great weapon by which the European powers in the beginning of twentieth century took control of almost all of Asia and Africa. The boom in the economic sectors of countries like Germany, France and the United States of America can be attributed to the development of the maritime industry."
Attorney Muslim Bin Aqeel is the CEO of Research Center for International Maritime Law & Practice (RCIMLP), Defence Analyst and an Advocate of High Courts specializing in International Maritime Laws. He has been former Visiting Faculty Member at National Defence University, Islamabad.
